It is true what people always say life will not be the same after the child is born ...It changed me a lot. It helped in building confidence and pride in me. I will laugh along with Saranya and will cry along with her to make her laugh again...;) We need lot of patience to take care of them and also better sense of humor too...:)
During initial stage it is very tough to analyze the difference between child's needs and our needs. But on this planet, these needs "are to varying degrees in opposition, imposing frustrations and sorrows and forcing mutual adaptation" says the Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry. As we get more experienced as a parent, our ability to prepare for the future and come up with contingency plans will grow.
The best part of change is rewinding all our childhood rhymes. ha ha ha..now I know most of the rhymes to teach Saranya. she likes to listen while we sing at home rather than listening to the rhymes on computer.
We are celebrating monthly birthdays for Saranya and so thought of doing different themes for every month birthday. Of course 95% of the work is being done by my wife. Reason to mention about birthdays and themes is, it brought Raji's creativity out and she started doing different types of art work (Quilling, clay molding, Balloon items etc...) and decorations.
Marriage didn't impact much on priorities but with saranya all the priorities changed for us. First Saranya and next anything in life...:)
